"from the moment we arrived we felt so welcome and the feeling grew as the stay progressed. Fran is a very friendly host and her husband John was just as welcoming. The gite and pool are in a beautiful, quiet, nature filled part of the Charente. The decor in each room is a clever mix of antique and modern. It is immaculately clean; generously equipped; a well insulated house. We enjoyed feeding their hens too!! We fully recommend this gite."

"We had an amazing week at Nadelin. Amazing little house in a truly beautiful location. We visited with our son and girlfriend, both 17. Such a peaceful setting, but walking distance to Aubeterre and Bonnes. Our host Dominique was wonderful, and it was lovely to meet her family and share a glass of wine at the pool. I wish we had 2 weeks instead one!!! So much more to see and do, both at the farm and in Aubeterre. Would come back in a heartbeat"

"We stayed for a family holiday as 3 couples and 1 baby, to attend a wedding in the area. The place is lovely, well set up for a family including a well stocked kitchen (including oven, microwave, tupperwares, high chair), 3 bedrooms (all en suite, + travel cot) large communal spaces and an amazing garden and pool, family bathroom with a bathtub for children. There’s lots of bedding and towels available. The location is stunning and walking distance to one of the most beautiful villages. We felt very comfortable and had most things we needed. Only feedback would be that we were not able to use the upstairs bedroom as there was a problem with ants and ants on the bed; I understand this is an ongoing issue and attempts have been made to rectify it, but it resulted in one couple having to sleep on the sofa beds. We also were not permitted to use the BBQ which is a shame as it was listed in the property facilities and welcome book. Other than this we had a great stay. Thank you "
