"Lovely place. Loads of space for us 4 families to spread out across the 2 separate houses. (Handy to put the teens in the end one on their own). Weather was very hot so we really appreciated the pool, the shade of the walnut tree and the Bluetooth speakers. A couple of extra parasols would have been great, but we managed fine. "We had an amazing week in Lozay, the cottage is well equipped and has loads of character. We especially loved the little walled courtyard eating area. At night it lit up like a secret garden. Just gorgeous!!!!! I would definitely recommend the region, Saint Jean is a charming market town with a lovely local market on a Wednesday and Saturday morning. We also visited La Rochelle and Fouras. There was also a beautiful heated pool with surrounding garden to chill out in. Just lovely with a glass...

"Gite bien aménagé, au calme dans un hameau, très facile d'accès depuis l'autoroute, parfait pour faire une étape. Cuisine grande et bien équipée (grand frigo, congélateur, four, etc.). On a apprécié le stationnement facile devant le gite, les lits faits à l'arrivée, les serviettes fournies, le baby foot/billard et jeu de fléchettes, la télé assez grande, la documentation touristique. C'est presque parfait sauf le canapé, très inconfortable et trop petit, à changer par un plus grand ou 2 petits...

Cecile and Davide were excellent hosts and their dog, Balto :) The house is about a 10 min cycle from Saint Savienen, where you can rent boats, do shopping etc. We would recommend this gite to anyone.
