"Beautiful old hotel that has been updated and modernized but with some of the character of an old building left in place. Large rooms. Modern bathrooms. Amazing staff….from the front desk to the bar and restaurant. Friendly and helpful. Great location. Close to lots of great restaurants, shopping and an easy walk to Old Quebec within the wall."

"J'ai bien aimé la chambre, très belle, confortable et bien décorée. Je voulais avoir un balcon qui donnait sur la piscine, par contre, ce n'était pas une bonne idée. C'était très bruyant. J'ai bien aimé la musique en après-midi, par contre, les gens qui crient dans la piscine ainsi que les gens qui veillent tard et parlent fort sur leur balcon sont plutôt dérangeants, alors ce n'est pas un endroit reposant. C'est un très bel endroit pour aller faire le party. La nourriture du restaurant était très bonne. Le personnel est courtois et accueillant."

"Breakfast was not included with the room. Although the room was surprisingly large and clean, it showed its age. In addition: • The A/C was loud and not powerful enough to cool the size of room. The staff assured me that they were in the process of updating the equipment • The towels were worn almost to transparency • There were no safety bars in the tub • The bedside lamp was unplugged, and to plug it in, the headboard would have to be removed • The kitchen should have had four of everything, but bowls, cups, glasses and utensils were missing • The refrigerator had not been defrosted, so I couldn’t use the freezer I left my pink Yeti water bottle with my name engraved on it at the reception desk when I checked in. When I went to claim it, I was told the staff thought it was being claimed by its owner. I have an unusual name, and had the staff requested ID, they would have realized it did not belong to the person who claimed it. This was disappointing. However, the staff was respectful, willing to admit an error, and helpful in lugging my heavy luggage up the stairs when the elevator was out of service for a few hours."

Hotel Le Bonne Entente

8/10 Good

"Nice small resort hotel about 25 minutes of driving to the Quebec City old town. The pool was great to relax in the evening. Restaurant was great both food and service (the prices are reasonable). The suite was comfortable. The hotel needs some updating, especially carpets should be replaced (they look pretty bad). Overall, I would stay again and would recommend it to others."
