"We spend 3 nights at the Chateau and could not be happier. Its location is very convenient, between Utah and Omaha beaches, so it is an accessible and strategic base to visit Normandy. Within a few minutes, in Carentan-les-marais, the D-Day experience, restaurants and other small business make it a good option. But the best part is the chateau itself and its hosts, Cathy and Jacky. They put a great effort in making you feel comfortable and are very nice people, in order that you feel at home....

"What a charming bed and breakfast! This place was a museum in itself, over 300 years old with modern amenities. David and Alyson, the owners, were the perfect hosts. "Quiet area. Easy access to St Lô. Old building. Polystyrene ceiling tiles in bedroom.Fire hazard? Very comfy bed. Very steep, dangerous stairs to room. Owner very nice but did ask for payment again even though we pre-paid. Basic continental breakfast but only 3 euros each.Overall, for a one night stopover after a 9 hour drive,it did the job."
