"We loved the gite, it was clean, everything was well catered for and it had a great setting. Michel and Martine were great hosts and left us to enjoy our holiday but were around if we needed them. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday and would recommend to friends to stay there and we would gladly go back. The rugby matches we saw in St Etienne were great, fantastic atmosphere and great to watch with people from so many different countries attending."

"Lovely modern gite in the heart of Ardeche and equiped to a high standard. The driveway is a bit steep for a low profile car, mine ended up with scrapes under the bumpers but with care it was possible to monoeuvre. In truth the only real downer was the pool which is the largest I've ever seen for the sole use of a single gite but was simply too cold. I was assured the pool was heated but you couldn't tell, such a shame."

"This old building has been converted to an attractive and comfortable gite, with excellent views from the garden. It's a long way up the hill so quite cool. Hard to find the right building as we did not have adequate directions. The giveaway is the owner's name on the cover for the electricity meter on the wall alongside the road. Cleaning, bedlinen and towels are extra."

"We (2 adults, 2 children) stayed in this property for a week in August. The property was very clean and everything was in good working order. Night-time and early morning temperatures were low due to the altitude, but it soon warmed up and by lunchtime it was quite hot. Le Chambon-sur-Lignon is quite small, but it has all the shops you might need during your stay (bakers, supermarkets, ice-cream parlours, pharmacy, etc.). "Nous avons passé 2 jours pour Noël. Bon accueil, gîte bien équipé, très spacieux, bien agencé. Attention très peu de réseau et aucun commerce de proximité mais pour nous pas gênant. Seul bémol, le chauffage était réglé au plus bas donc nous n'avons pas eu très chaud heureusement que les températures extérieures n'étaient pas trop fraîches. "Très belle demeure avec des chambres hyper spacieuses avec chacune une salle de bains et un wc. Bel espace clôturé pour un petit chien. Il est juste dommage que le temps n'ait pas été au top. Pas loin du gr65 qui permet daller au puy en velay dun côté et saint privat d'allier de l'autre. Merci pour les.sachets de lentilles bio!"
