"The location was ideal for getting around Vichy. The immediate area (and the hotel itself) seemed in need of some polishing and updating. My broken French and their English made things easy. We did not try the breakfast. The front desk staff were very friendly and kind. We were there in May and the weather was unseasonably warm. They advertised air conditioning (climatisation) but it was not yet « turned on » for the season so we made do with fans. Opening the window helped but there were mosquitoes! This we found out was standard fare in the other French cities we visited however the hotel in Paris agreed to turn it on centrally, when we asked for it."

"It was a quick stop but the whole town is very walkable and the parc nearby is absolutely gorgeous. We ordered room service, which was served on the dot by a very courteous, but also very discreet gentleman. The bellman took care of our electric vehicle and returned it to us fully charged. "

"Booked as a stopover we were really happy to stay at The Originals Boutique - exceeded our expectations. Spacious, airy rooms, good bed and shower, very quiet. Even had a garage for the motorbikes (5 euros extra). Perfect location - square, park and river. We had a great evening in Vichy"

"What an incredible home, with history and joy. The warm vibe starts from the communications leading to arrival and throughout the stay. The photos do not do this home any justice. It is so much better in real life. It’s very grand with comfortable living spaces and large bedrooms no. There is plenty of space for large groups. The grounds are open with lots of space to run around! The view is just perfect…. The location of the home is 5 minutes from Saint Yorre and 15-20 min from Vichy, so it is easy to explore the region. I would definitely recommend a car. Overall my family from New Zealand loved it and said it’s just like home. We cannot recommend the home enough."
