"We stayed at multiple hotels/motels and cabins during our trip to Nova Scotia and during our trip around Cabots Trail. The Bras D'Or Inn was by far our favourite stay. The room was spacious and clean, the property was beautiful with a gorgeous wharf behind where there were gorgeous views of the lake. The attached restaurant was also a nice treat. The food was terrific. We only stayed one night, but it was the best evening of the trip. Would stay again there 100%"

"From the moment we first enquired about staying at Christoph's property for the night, to the time we checked out, Christoph was an amazing host. He was very timely and professional with all communication.We were in complete awe when we saw the property. Photos dont even come close to doing it justice. Every detail has been carefully thought out. The hot tub is right on the lake and was clean and hot!! Watching the sun rise while drinking coffee on the deck, while being able to hear the crashing waves from the ocean, was . We were so happy with our stay, we have decided that we will be making this an annual trip.My only recommendation would be to take a throw blanket with you! I like to to curl up on the couch with a blanket or sitting on the deck was a little cool. Definitely shouldn't be a deterrent for someone looking to stay here, just a little suggestion to help enjoy to the fullest!"

"Beautiful cozy "

"Christine and Karen were both welcoming and easy to communicate with in the lead-up to our stay. They sent us a message the day before letting us know that the apartment would be open and available on our arrival as well as their phone numbers to contact for any issues. The site was as depicted in the listing, and very comfortable for two. There is no television, which was perfect for us but may be something to be aware of for others. The bed was very comfortable and spacious, and the lake is only steps away. There is a reasonably stocked kitchenette that includes a two-burner induction hot plate, microwave and propane BBQ next to the gazebo down beside the lake. Ample parking! A beautiful and relaxing retreat for anyone looking to escape (but the high-speed internet makes sure that if you -need- to connect, it is still possible.) PS: The washer and dryer was awesome, as we were half-way though a two-week trip and needed a suitcase reset!"

"lovely pool and play area for families. we rented a cottage which had a mini kitchen so very handy for making a meal. in room coffee machine, microwave, fridge, stove etc. lovely view from windows looking out at the water. very quiet and well maintained property."

"The house was nice and the property is beautiful. The ad said it has Air conditioning which it did not but most of the rooms except for one bedroom had ceiling fans which worked well for those rooms. A fan of some type would help with the airflow in the smaller bedroom. We were only there for 2 nights so it didn’t matter to us but the only television was in the master bedroom which might matter to others. We had an issue with something beeping upon arrival but the host promptly responded to our call and talked us through fixing it. He also left us a curtesy bottle of wine upon arrival which was a nice touch. "
