"Hotel is really quaint and done within several very old buildings - as best as possible. Decent accommodations, with the givens of walking up and down numerous stairs, dark hallways, etc. Personnel there ranges from: exceptionally sweet young woman - who carried our heavy suitcases up two steep stairs (no elevator) - to a very unfriendly male. "This is an amazing place to stay - beautiful grounds with flowers, trees and well-tended lawns, a wonderful pool, and clean comfortable accomodations. We rented a 2-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and dining space - it was quiet and very private, with a patio in front and back, and just steps to the pool. The whole property feels very private and luxurious but is not at all stuffy or formal. Among the very best hotels we've stayed in anywhere in the world."
