"Creaking floor in an attic room wasn’t great. Nice view from the window, if you were very small. Tricky staircase to deal with and very low ceilings in corridor. Looked like a fabulous room was unoccupied on ground floor but we weren’t offered it (even for a price) Hostess nice and helpful but no English. Continental breakfast was nice. Great location"

"We really enjoyed staying at Les secrets de Tifayne. The place is very pretty and quiet, hosts very friendly and helpful. We had a great room, full of character and clean. Breakfast was good and with plenty of local products. We also bought some of their wine. We will not hesitate to stay here again and recommend this place to anyone who desires a quiet place near Saint Emilion. It is definitely 10 out of 10"

"We stayed here for a few days around a rugby world cup match, and it was a really lovely start to our trip. The chateau is beautiful and so peaceful - perfect for when you want to retreat from the chaos! The bedrooms are spacious and so well made up, and we were provided with evaporative cooling fans in the room to help with the heatwave. As it's more remote, you will need to travel a little for lunch and dinner, but it's absolutely worth it for such a unique stay."

"We had a wonderful stay! Delphine, the host was lovely, knowledgable and hospitable. The accommodations were nice, clean and relaxing.. surrounding by nature and vineyards. "What an experience! Sebastian and Sylvie could not have been accommodating, friendly and welcoming. We were so very well taken care of and as it is winter and we were the only ones staying that night, they showed us each of the unique 5 suites they offered. Each was welcoming, warm and well accoutermented with its own charm and appeal. The garden, in summer, would be an additional special place to enjoy, we expect to see that in our next stay.
