"Fantastic experience. Great location, new and clean, great vibe in the bar and outdoor patio. Bistro dining interesting varied menu and nicely prepared with good wine selections. Staff was 110% incredible from train station pickup, bar staff, and GM. Highly recommended as a frequent traveler. "

"Hotel was welcoming and very clean . Staff was exceptional and friendly . The breakfast was amazing. B proximity to train station was a huge bonus . Only downside was in the approach to the property that on the left hand side was either a very rundown hotel or an extended stay for meth addicts . There was old wood piled up and furniture piled in a garage like area. It was trashy and not something you want to walk by on your approach to a hotel you are staying at "

"I would highly recommend this hotel. Conveniently located and 10mins walk from train station and shopping area and restaurants. We had a great view of the Matterhorn from our bedroom. Thank you Bristol Hotel for that. "

"Hotel Derby was a very comfortable stay. The Good: - The staff was very accommodating and friendly - The room and facilities were very clean - Middle of shopping district in Zermat. Very busy and walkable environment. The Bad: - The room was fairly hot in the night time even with the heat off. We needed to open the window overnight which caused lot of noise in the late night and morning due to the location. - Water temperature was not very hot for shower - The mountain view is not a view of Matterhorn, rather some shorter mountains in the area. Barely viewable on the second highest floor balcony. - Breakfast was included but did not have too much options and had mediocre taste even compared to some cheaper stays in Swiss"

"Probably the best hotel room I’ve ever stayed at. Excellent architecture. Layout was fantastic. We had the family room so a separate room for the large bed and a separate small room for two twin beds. Large open seating room. Bathroom was fantastic. Beautiful. But more importantly functional and with safety in mind. Beautiful marble but in the shower on the floor were several wide non slip strips. Most of the showers I experience when traveling are slippery and therefore dangerous. Real though by an experienced builder and architect went into this fabulous place. "
