"Nicely appointed apartment in central Camborne with the benefit of allocated secure parking. Whilst I did not make use of the cooking facilities, there is everything you need if you do want to cook and there is a supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away. The apartment was clean and the welcome gifts of a bottle of Spumante and shortbread were a nice touch. "The setting was perfect, the description of a woodland retreat was spot on. We loved sitting gazing out at the squirrels playing in the trees and were lucky enough to have them come up to the door and peer in. After leaving out almonds for them we had daily visits.Seagulls Rest was beautifully styled, it felt welcoming and cosy. Thank.you to Tina who was so helpful with our enquiries. "Lovely hotel with restaurant downstairs, useful for bed and breakfast and getting dinner in the evening. Nice staff, had a nice sized room. Lovely sea views from front of property. Easy access by walking 10 minutes or less by car to Penzance train station and the town. Great if you want to explore the area, st Ives 25 mins by train and st Michael’s Mount 3 miles are nearby with great transport links by bus and train."

"This is a nice hotel well situated for Fistral Beach and for access to the town. Our room had a great view of the sea. We enjoyed the breakfast service with the polite and attentive staff. The housekeeping was a little hard to come by - you need to request it which is fine but nobody told us! However the rooms were very clean. This is an old building which was not designed with AC and whilst we had a fan to keep noir room cool I think it could be inconsiderable in very hot weather. Check out at 11am seems a little early but there is a lounge you can stay in."
