It is located a very short walking distance to a very nice beach and various dining options. You can access a great grocery store within a short driving distance. From our arrival to our departure, the owner was incredibly accommodating and responsive and his welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home. I...

"Very clean and discreet. Not noisy but one would most likely need a vehicle to get around since it is in a rather remote location. If you like peace, quiet and clean this would be the right location. I intend to book this property on my next trip to Guadeloupe."

"Nous venons de passer 10 jours formidables dans ce gîte très bien situé pour sillonner toute la Guadeloupe. Les photos correspondent parfaitement à tout ce que vous pourrez trouver sur place. Le jardin et la piscine sont un vrai plus. Patrick et Stella sont aussi discrets que prévenants, soucieux de la qualité de votre séjour et de très bons conseils pour découvrir les richesses de leur île. "This apartment is exactly as shown. Gorgeous view from the kitchen balcony. Helene was extremely helpful with information and left us enough water, coffee, etc to start our stay. You can walk to restaurants, Dacha beach and swim at a small beach next door. Only downside for us as Americans was that parking was challenging. But we managed. Really lovely stay for our first visit to Guadeloupe!!👍"

After a long day of hiking or being at the beach, it was very nice to come back to a very spacious home with its own pool and BBQ. We would love to come back any time!"

"Perfect place to stay to relax and chill out with amazing views, the evenings are great to sit out with a drink and watch the sunset, listening to nature. If you are a fan of the TV series ‘ Death in Paradise’ the property is close to the location where this is filmed. If wanting to get out and about you will need a car as there aren’t very many taxis and limited public transport. Julie and her family were very welcoming when we first arrived, and this is made for a very pleasant stay. "

"Hubert est un super hôte, il nous a de suite mis à l'aise et était toujours disponible sans être intrusif. Le logement est très fonctionnel, spacieux et les chambres climatisées. Les terrasses avec une vue imprenable sont aussi très appréciées pour les repas notamment. Bien placé (proche des belles plages de Deshaies en voiture), il est aussi situé dans un environnement paradisiaque très bien entretenu, au milieu de la nature et des chants d'oiseaux. Nous recommandons ce logement sans réserve!...

"Everything from booking, arriving, duration of the stay and departure was a breeze. The host were available to answer any questions and the location was great. With close proximity to the airport, and public transports and the beautiful local beaches and true European/Carribean feels not to mention the local bakeries. We'd come back in a heart beat!"
