"Villas Foch is a boutique hotel located a few blocks from all the action in Bordeaux. The hotel itself is very clean and very smartly appointed. The rooms have been furnished with comfort in mind. "The area is really only good if you want to be near the convention centre. There's a bunch of hotels out this way that presumably exist solely for the convention centre. The area is not picturesque by any means. Having said that - if you want to be in this area, this is a good little hotel. Not luxurious but the rooms are comfortable. it's nice and quiet and dark at night if you close the blinds. I slept well here, despite my room being near the kitchen.
