"We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of staying in an old post office. The accommodation is comfortable & has everything you need. Steve, the host, who met us at the property was very friendly & helpful. For us the best part was the view of Loch Long & watching the boats come & go. We were lucky as the puffer boat moored up at the pier & we got to go aboard to have a look around. Highly recommend. "

The Pod Over By

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1)
"This is a very concise, beautifully thought out space with a deck overseeing an expansive gorgeous valley filled sheep, birds, rising sun and moon. Iona and her husband could not have been more attentive and helpful. My husband and I have traveled the world seeking prehistoric monuments and sites and Kilmartin Glen is moments away as is its museum. The concentration of millenia of sites is exceeded only by the number of rock art sites even nearer the Pod. We recommend it highly!"

"The flat is very spacious, nicely decorated and clean. Kitchen is well-equipped, plus has amazing sea views over the Firth of Clyde and the ferry terminal, fascinating to watch. The milk, shortbread, fudge and coffee pods are a nice touch which made us feel welcome. The owner did his utmost to ensure we had everything we needed, and was very responsive. Car parking is fine, despite a notice in the nearby car park saying ‘no overnight parking’, it is possible to park overnight. It is in a very...
