"Wonderful location overlooking the estuary and mouth of the river Laita. Close to a nice range of beaches and small port towns/villages - e.g. Doelan. Has own lockable garage which a real plus. Some serious restaurants reasonable drives away - see NicholasH posts on TripAdvisor. Owners very nice and helpful and the apartment equipped well above average. Need to be careful that (1) bedrooms not really large enough for two adults, especially as both have gable ceilings to one side, and (2) it...

"Notwithstanding that: lovely place, village location was good for us with the beach <5mins, boulangerie <5mins and a v good pool on the site. Garden area very good to relax in. We rate our stay 10/10."

"We had a very enjoyable stay near Melrand. The accommodation was clean and well equipped. Martin was there to welcome us and gave some useful tips on places to visit. We particularly liked the music & dance ( & cider!) at the local pardon. There are some good walks nearby."
