"Een heerlijk verblijf in het huis van Patrick en Yvonne. Ze hebben ons goed verwelkomd en wisten ons nuttige tips te geven. De keuken is wat verouderd maar geeft zeker geen beperkingen. Het huis is koel, eventueel kan de airco ook aan. Dat was niet altijd nodig ofschoon we er midden in de hete weken waren. De badkamer is zeer comfortabel, een heerlijke doche! Het terras nodigt uit voor heerlijke ontbijtjes en lekkere diners en een wijntje en een kaasje achteraf. We hebben uitgebreid de sterren...

"Le gîte est suffisamment grand pour une famille de quatre personnes. Belle piscine très bien entretenue et très agréable. Les enfants ont bien profité de la piscine et de la table de ping-pong. Le village de Sauve est à deux kilomètres seulement, accessible à pied ou à vélo par un chemin. Pas mal d’activités sportives (canyoning, canoë, spéléo, randonnée...) et de visites possibles dans les environs, mais on peut aussi faire le choix de profiter du calme et de la piscine pour se reposer....

The thick stone walls of the house mean it remains cool inside even in high summer. Everything you need is provided.Ludovic is an attentive and responsive host. The people in the village are friendly. There is a vinegar shop- not to be missed. And there are many lovely walks to be had - including shaded by trees. There are wineries to visit- with good wine. "We spent 3 weeks at Alice's place, and there is nothing to say other than "thank you". It is a wonderful, comfortable, peaceful place. All you need for a relaxing holiday is there, in a lovely atmosphere. If we may suggest, test the fresh baguettes from Sommieres City Center Boulanger. Every day a wood fired oven produce the most tasty bread you may imagine. all the best Alice"

"The cabin is situated in the grounds of the manor house that once belonged to the author Laurence Durell. The hostess is amazing and cannot do enough to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Walk out of the secure grounds and you are in the old town of Sommieres, with its numerous restaurants and bars . This place could not score higher if you want a base to explore the area."
