"Old building with loads of charm . Staff really friendly and efficient .large room , lovely bed .Evening meal very nice and excellent breakfast . Plenty of free parking. Only issue was poor shower . Would certainly stay their again ."

"We had a wonderful stay, prior to going to Snetterton race circuit. The car park was large and we felt the car was safe. The staff were brilliant, couldn’t do more to help us and when friends joined us for an evening meal they accommodated them as well. Definitely will book this hotel again."

"A lovely stay. Roast dinner and breakfast the following morning were delicious. The suite we stayed in was large, nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. Easy to find and lots of parking Staff member Nathan and the lady who served us breakfast were both lovely. The cons - the hot water tank run out after my husband had a shower. We had to wait 45 minutes for it to heat up again. For the age/type of building this isn’t a problem but it would be good to give guests the heads up online...

"Quiet, peaceful, Good accomodation, with very good food, and in the middle for all attractions, and Barry , Jen and Chrissy, all very polite and helpful at all times. Barry the owner is MY cup of tea!!!! and as the saying goes I SHALL RETURN, to this little gem."

"Arrived in the middle of football festivities but still dealt with professionally. Nothing fancy. The sort of accommodation you expect upstairs in a boozer. Excellent value for money given other options in the region. Would happily stay again (maybe without the football)."

"We were in the area for a wedding and booked the hotel. The hotel is absolutely beautiful in the most amazing setting. The staff were so lovely and friendly. Made our stay wonderful. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back "

"Staff were all friendly, considerate and helpful. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The room was as described and the bed was comfortable. The King’s Head is ideally situated for exploring Norfolk. We hope to return."

"Very welcoming host Lindsay. Very popular destination for walkers and villagers option for a late breakfast which suited us. Would recommend for a quality and comfortable stay"

"The room looked ok but on closer inspection not so good! Bathroom had mould in the tile grout in the shower and the remaining bathroom was bare plaster. The toilet seat was not attached properly. The bathroom had some sort of sewage maceration system that would go off every hour throughout the night! Nobody knew how the tv worked!! Four remotes for 1 tv!! They then had to go out for batteries as nobody could get it to work! There were thick cobwebs around one of the pictures but the room was...

"Owners could not have been more welcoming and accomodating. We stayed here whilst visiting Thrusford Spectacular show. We had a lovely lunch before we we left for the show all plates were empty and everyone enjoyed the meal. Would highly recommend this friendly in for a stay."

A lovely lit patio patio area to enjoy a drink on warm summers night.

"My partner and myself stayed here for 2 nights. The pod it's self is tidy, clean, small kitchenette with microwave and toaster, also there is a breakfast hamper, the fridge is stocked with the basics. The pod opens out onto a beautifully kept Japanese garden with Koi pond. Ian and Caz are great hosts and are at the end of a text or call if there are any problems. There is also a hot tub available which just topped off this amazing little retreat. Myself and Darren will definately be coming back....
