"The hostal has two wonderful gardens, one which is used for breakfast. It was an ideal place to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds. The airconditioning ih the room worked well so we were quite comfortable. The staff were very helpful, even making us sandwiches to take when we left. "From arrival to departure, it was a pleasure to stay at Casa Causilla. Beginning with guava juice brought to me when I checked in, to offers to call a taxi for me to transport me to the bus station when leaving, Miguel and his wife wanted to make sure my stay in Santa Clara would go well. The room is very comfortable and sheets and pillows are of a high quality. Excellent shower with abundant hot water and pressure. Hair dryer much appreciated! The location is within walking distance to most points of interest. Within a family context, nonetheless you have maximum privacy at this casa as the room is located near the casa entrance—and you get a set of keys—with the family area down a long hallway, and at hand, if needed. Definitely one of the best, if not the best, of many casas I stayed in during 4 weeks in Cuba. Highly recommended. "
