"The stay was very simple and comfortable. What bothered me most was that there were no vending machines nor ice machines inside the hotel. (not informed prior to check-in) I had to go outside of the hotel and find the nearest convenience store by myself which was about 100 yards by foot."

We wish was that in them knowing we had a vehicle, that they were able to direct us to a nearby parking lot with affordable pricing. The signs are confusing at times. We ended up paying ¥3400 the first night for overnight parking and ¥6100 the second night in the nearby lots. Other than that, the room was clean except a little black mold near the AC unit. Deep. cleaning could be better. Happy with our 2 night stay...

"Good place, clean with neceesary amenities. The wall is thinner so we could hear people in the next room. Having a little difficult with self check in but over all is good. Only 3 minuts walking distance from bus station."

"This was a secure ryokan with only 3 rooms on the top floor. We could store our luggage there before our check in and for a few hours after checkout, which was really helpful. Toilet upstairs near the room but shower in the onset area (spa not traditional onset). But noisy with creaky floor at night. Smell of sewage in room at night, but not too strong and mitigated by use of aircon all night for ventilation. Overall it was a really nice stay, with gorgeous breakfast (self made but ingredients...

"The guy is really nice and accomodating and the area was decent to walk, but for the love of god, don't stay here... Hair every where, bathroom, pillows, bed sheets, you name it. Second, we reserved a room with 2 beds (1 bed and one futon). We got one bed and thin pad for the floor with almost no room to put it. I should've trusted (and or read them) the other reviews before booking because for the money this place sucked. Pay extra and stay at a real hotel. The photos of random glass building...

"Nice spot for a short stay. No kitchen really, but there is a shared fridge and microwave. Right next to a school where loud kids play baseball into the late evening so if you’re an early sleeper might not be the best retreat. Really convenient for the bikes. The bedding is thin so if you’re used to a fluffy bed, not your cup of tea. The men only have one very small bathroom area (the women’s is much larger and nicer), but the shower is hot and powerful. "Fantastic stay, highly recommend. Area around property is very quiet, with at minimum a 10-15 minute walk to restaurants or convenience stores. Great views of Mount Fuji can be seen from the property, or anywhere in Fujiyoshida for that matter. Host doesn't speak English, but is fluent in Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, and Korean amongst other languages. She's super helpful and accommodating."
