"Great hotel, friendly staff, very clean with comfortable beds! Walking distance to shopping and dining in Dunedin Convenient location, with less than 20 minute drive to Clearwater tours/beaches. Honeymoon island also close by. "

"We had a great time here! I'm a youth pastor who looks for places to keep students for a few days each summer, and this house did great to serve our needs. We had room to spread out comfortably. If you're looking for a place in town and close to everything, this is the place! I only had to communicate with the hosts a couple times, but they were professional and courteous, and quick to answer what I needed. If I was to give a tip to any future guests, I would say unless you're comfortable parking in the street next to the house, two cars is max for parking, and as someone who often uses enclosed trailers for luggage for trips, I'm glad I didn't need one this time. Overall, their consistent 4-5 star ratings speak for themselves!"

"Our stay at the Avocado House in Palm Harbor, Florida, was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home—but with all the fun and beauty of a dream vacation.The pool area was absolutely phenomenal. It became the heart of our trip—where memories were made, laughter echoed, and the kids (ages 1 to 17!) spent endless hours splashing, swimming, and simply enjoying themselves. It’s rare to find a place that entertains every age so effortlessly, but this home delivered.The house itself had everything we needed—thoughtfully stocked, incredibly clean, and full of charm. John, our host, was outstanding: responsive, helpful, and always just a message away. His attention to detail and care for our experience truly made a difference.Beyond the home, Palm Harbor offers so much to explore. With beautiful beaches just minutes away and a variety of local attractions, there was never a dull moment. But honestly, the comfort and joy of the house made it tempting to just stay in and relax.I can’t recommend the Avocado House enough—whether you're traveling with a big family like ours or just looking for a peaceful escape. When we return to Florida, there’s no question—we’ll be coming back here."

"The location was perfect, within walking distance from the beach. The house was well appointed with everything needed for a great vacation or short term housing. Pet friendly and with what is essentially an in-law suite, kids, parents and couples can have the privacy that is often lacking in hotel stays. Three very nice bathrooms and BIDETS!!The hosts were very accommodating and if I come back to Tarpon, I would definitely stay again. "
"Front desk employee was easy to talk to despite it being late at night with easy directions to room. Though the room had a strong smell, at least the ac worked decently with how hot the room was when we first walked in. Good place for a single night stay."
"Communication for check in was great, and made easy. We enjoyed the house, it had everything we needed, spacious and clean. Our girls 8 and 10 enjoyed the board games during our evenings in. Neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. Beaches near are nice and the sunsets are beautiful. I have recommended this home to other family members and we will definitely stay again in the future. "
