"Location was perfect. Next door to the train station. There is a taxi stand by train station too for super convenience. The restaurant is above average as is the bar. Breakfast was included and as lavish as any I’ve enjoyed. Cold meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, lots of breads, juices, fruits and many hot breakfast items such as eggs, beans, potatoes and bacon. The security was better than most in that elevator access required you key card to operate. It’s a simple walk to the “Old City”. I did it all four days. Plenty of sites, shops and restaurants along the way. If I ever return, I’ll book it again."

"Basic Clean Accommodations. They use a self check in/out system. Place to cook/eat. Place to sit and chat. Rooms were to sleep in, not settle in. Very nice shower/bathroom."

"Hotel is in a great location and the staff were all friendly. The room was clean, although there were some stains on the carpet by the radiator - looks like it had a leak at some point. We had a twin room and were only given one pillow per bed, but when we mentioned it at reception they went and got 2 more pillows that we could take up to the room ourselves. The only down side I would say is that there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room and you have to buy hot drinks from reception. We fancied a hot chocolate on our last evening but the reception staff were nowhere to be seen so we gave up in the end, so that was disappointing but overall a great stay."

"Do NOT listen to the people who have given this Hotel 1 or 2 stars, we have just come back from a four night stay and I have to say we had a fantastic holiday. The hotel is centrally located minutes walk away from the centre, our room was huge, extra bedroom( ok no window ) but we didn’t even need to use it as we had two double beds in the main room plus a lovely seating area. Teas and coffee, hairdryer, ironing board, shampoo etc all provided. As for people complaining about the rooms not being cleaned everyday, why would you want them? don’t be so messy. If you need anything clean towels etc just ask at reception. Again people commenting about no staff members around, there was somebody manning the fort every time we were in the lobby. They helped organise a taxi for our journey back to the airport and provided a breakfast to take with us as we had an early flight, Sauna and gym were fab, lovely bonus. Food, well we didn’t get to have the Fika in the afternoon as we were out all day but breakfast was superb, so much choice and always hot and tasty, the evening meal, granted there was only one choice of the day but you also had soup, pasta, salad and the bread oh my god amazing! I’ve put in about a stone and my son who is a fussy eater he loved the choices and ate well. Honestly as a family we can’t rate this hotel enough, staff were lovely, food was lovely, hotel was lovely, location great. We highly recommend it if you are looking for a stay in beautiful Bergen ❤️"

"I have nothing to fault about this hotel. The location was great, the staff helpful, and the breakfast was so good! I absolutely would reccommend this hotel and would stay here again. Bonus, if you have bad eyes the numbers on the doors are absolutely massive."
