We booked a pet friendly kingsize deluxe room for 2 nights. We were told that suite was not pet friendly and were given a standard room in the carriage house. We were too exhausted to continue driving so stayed for one night. We requested our bill be adjusted accordingly but have yet to hear back from Expedia nor the Inn

Stayed at the Marshlands for nostalgia’s sake. Very old inn but such character!! The staff especially Gail was a treasure. Sooo helpful and helpful. We were in Sackville for our 50th Mt.Allison Alumni reunion and staying at the Marshlands was the icing on the cake.

I have been staying at the Marshlands Inn from time to time since 1982. Have always liked it and was glad to stay this time. However, this time they were so short-staffed that it was embarassing. Long waits to be served in the dining room, which was basically empty. Very long wait to check out in the morning. One man, no matter how hard he worked, could not keep up. This in a summer when Canadian students are having a tough time finding summer jobs. Why?
The drain in the sink in our room needs a shot of Drano. In general a bit of painting would not hurt.
I hope they can work on these items because, basically, I like the Marshlands Inn and want it to live on as a pleasant place to stop for a night or two.

The owner and staff were warm and friendly, the inn charming and the meals superlative, with seafood crepes stuffed with mussels, scallops and shrimps in a creamy sauce and a breakfast of freshly prepared fruit and homemade bread and homemade jam.

The Inn has been kept as the original structure but so beautifully decorated and felt very homey. My suitcase was carried upstairs for me and they even offered me a bowl of seafood chowder and dinner roll when the kitchen was closed. Very cozy Inn and amazing staff! I will definitely recommend this Inn!

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Marshlands Inn. It has the feel of a quirky BnB, a very unique and historic experience! I enjoyed conversations with the host, walks in the lovely garden, and how close in walking distance the downtown of Sackville. I will visit again.
