This is among my best stays in Romania. The hotel is newish, excellent location near main st, staff polite and trained, room, cleanliness, everything just they way it should be. the price? a deal. just don't loose time finding another place to stay while in Brasov. by car you can get anywhere in the city. this is notr an inconvenience.

Would have been nice to visit the property under normal circumstances. Looked like it could be a pleasant place with the spa and all. Location is definitely outside of the city and away from parks or shops. But if you are heading off to Bucharest after your stay it is well positioned.

Old hotel with old room. Could find only one switch in the room. Accommodation was already paid via Hotels.com and they charged me again when checking out...still waiting to get back to me and I called twice

They state they have Air conditioning. They do not. The hotel was at 26 Celsius which is what my Romanian contractors call hot. There are no shower curtains this makes the bathroom wet much like a cheap hotel in Istanbul. The service people are rude and lie when they state they can fix the Air Conditioning. When you volunteer to pay for your food to get a refund on the hotel room after you left from abuse in the middle of the night, they refuse to provide the factural fiscal. They also refuse to provide a bon fiscal for the food and a refund for the rest even though you have volunteered to pay for the food. The night clerk is a jerk and has no interest in anyone visiting. I highly recommend going a little further to Hotel Escalade. It is a great hotel and makes this one look like a flea bitten dive.

Dafür das das Hotel relativ neu ist, ist sehr viel defekt und wird nicht ersetzt. Fenster schließen nicht korrekt, Glaswand in Dusche fehlt etc

Cet hôtel était très bien il y a 10 ans mais les choses se détériorent: tissu sur les chaises et fauteuil élimé, télécommande tv hs, wifi qui ne marche pas ... il est encore bien mais il faut réagir.

O hotel é bom mas a limpeza deixa a desejar. O quarto atribuído não fecha a porta, a não ser à força. Apesar de pedir para o quarto ser aspirado diariamente, nunca foi feito. O topo das camas tinha sempre pó. O staff da recepção muito bom assim como o do restaurante. Esperava melhor buffet no pequeno almoço mas não estava mau.

Nice hotel, not location

It was a nice place with good staff and quite a breakfast spread. Unfortunately the location was out of the way with not much around. Although there was an in house restaurant (not tried) and the sushi restaurant was there but probably not yet open. Still taxi from the city after midnight was 20-30, so not bad.

Beware of hard bed mattresses!

Overall the hotel was pleasing but the bed mattresses were one of the worst I've ever slept on in a hotel--like sleeping on a board. I shared this with the hotel staff and they said that they are aware of this. Also, the spa doesn't have a pool but 2 sauna's a wet and dry one.
