"My son and I loved this property for our week-long fishing vacation. Such a quaint/ peaceful/ clean/ well equipped space. Hosts Kim and Henry couldn't have been any nicer and accommodating during our stay. We felt very much at home with full use of the dock/waterfront area for swimming/ fishing/ paddling/ boating ... and more fishing!Great Sacandaga Lake is great for fishing/boating with lots to offer within 15-20 minutes - yet more low-key than other big lakes nearby. Thank you Kim & Henry for putting the water trampoline in early (on a very windy day) for my son to enjoy! Looking forward to our next visit!"

"My friends and I do a fishing trip on a different lake in the Adirondack,s once or twice a year. This is by far the nicest location yet ! We rented a boat at the marina a few minutes away. The house was comfortable , fully equipped and also on the nicest part of the lake. The owners Shawn and Nicole were super friendly and wonderful to communicate with. "We had an amazing stay at this cabin. The location on the river was beautiful and our kids did not hesitate to jump in and wade in the river as soon as we arrived. We took advantage of the beautiful surroundings and did several hikes in the area. Our first morning we walked just down the road to see the cute waterfall. The location of the cabin is great. The town of Northville is close by and has several places to eat and some stores for any necessities you may have forgotten. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed making dinner one night and having leisurely breakfasts each morning. Sipping our coffee and tea out on the screened in porch was the best part of everyday. The sound of the river flowing by is so relaxing. We spent the first part of our week hopping from hotel to hotel as we toured colleges in the region, so coming to the cabin for a few days at the end of the week was so welcomed. It really was a wonderful way to relax and recharge in beautiful surroundings. "
