The entire property was beautifully designed and maintained with a variety of plants, in addition to the vines."

"The hotel itself was very nice and comfortable. The only minor issue is its location. It is located in the middle of vineyards with stunning views. However, the road to the hotel is very narrow and winding, with only enough space for one car. We had problems on several occasions finding the access road. Once we were familiar with the surroundings it was no problem. There are also limited dining options nearby (the hotel provides dinner, though, but no lunch) so a car is an absolute necessity. Still, I would recommend this hotel for the friendly staff, the great wines on offer, and the amazing views. "

"Room size is good. Beds are huge and comfortable. Good breakfast is included. Indoor pool and sauna are nice. Hot tub not hot enough and overall hotel is little outdated "

"The property was great for us. The hotel is well looked after. Our room was a good size and very nice. The lobby/reception area was very nice. We sat there a couple nights after dinner and enjoyed a nice glass of wine with a few other guests. Also a very nice pool area if you’re there in the warmer weather. Maria was very helpful and booked us a wine tasting and a river cruise. I would highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely stay there again. "

"Unique experience in this small family run authentic hotel - it’s not really a hotel it’s an experience. Location is unbelievable and it’s a quaint character filled small winery. We loved the wine paired 3 course meal, Manuel welcomed us to this more than 400 year old winery that’s been in his family for generations. Totally recommend for a trip to Duoro it’s not just a place to stay."
