"Very convenient for a pre-flight stay with a shuttle bus to the hotel. The shuttle bus both from and to the airport was overcrowded The diner on the second floor offers a good selection of reasonably priced food. The smash burger was excellent The room and bathroom are practical for a one night stay. It was also very quiet. One way to improve the rooms would be to have more power outlets. WiFi signal was good enough for watching TV and music The souvenir shop was a revelation. So much to choose from and all at realistic prices"

"Beds are very comfortable. Staff is very nice. Wish it was cleaner. I have stayed here twice and both times the bathrooms were not very clean. Toothpaste splatter left on mirrors (both times) and hair in sink."

"The location of this hotel is excellent, it’s so close to everything. It’s just a 10-minute walk from the central station in Amsterdam. We were able to walk to the hotel with our luggage without any problems (70 years old with lots of luggage traveling in Europe for 3 weeks) Clean rooms, lots of places to admire the city near by, tons of shops and restaurants and easy to take a tram to visit would famous museums"

"The hotel is basic, but in the best possible way, and was exactly what we needed for a city break in Amsterdam. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had a lovely bay window overlooking the street, which added to the charm. The bathroom was also clean and accessible. I know some people mention the narrow, steep stairs, but personally, I felt they added to the authentic Amsterdam feel, as this is so typical of the city’s buildings! The location was brilliant, making it a great base for exploring Amsterdam. If you’re looking for somewhere luxurious, this might not be the place for you, but if you want somewhere clean, comfortable and well-located to explore the city, I would definitely recommend it. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Amsterdam!"
