"We had an amazing stay! The hotel was peaceful, spotlessly clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful, attentive, and always greeted us with a warm smile. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. My son absolutely loved the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. In fact, he cried when it was time to leave because he had been so happy and comfortable during our stay—that says it all! Thank you to everyone for making our visit so comfortable. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
The Lookout Rye

"Location is verry central to all the lovely things that Rye has to offer - the view from our room (at the top of the hotel) was spectacular. Although the room was top floor, and the temperature was hot, the fan supplied did a good job of keeping the room cool. We met two different members of staff who went above and beyond to help us and this made the stay. There are some rooms that have been renovated and other areas, (the hallway and stairs) that are yet to be done and appear to look tired and in need of a refurb too. Breakfast was well organised and food was of good quality with a range to choose from."

"Lovely very old pub in fabulous location. There is limited parking (3 spaces), but we could park on the road, ( free between 6pm and 9am). Check in was easy. Room was at top up several flights of stairs. Room was compact, with a step up to the bathroom. Fan to help cool room. Normal selection of tea and coffee with usual biscuits. Fresh milk was provided on check in. Compact bathroom with a shower. Sink was too small with a shelf and soap bottle above it , making it difficult to use for washing or shaving. We dined in the bar, no tables available in reception. Steak night on Thursdays. Good value. We didn't have breakfast. Check out was easy."

"Generally very good, Very tasty evening meal , nice breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Only problem was the en-suite! The shower only produced a trickle of water and the sealer around the bath was dirty and needed to be renewed."

"Rye is een prachtig middeleeuws stadje waar veel te zien en te beleven is, evenals in de omgeving. Wij bezochten de tuinen van Great Dixter, Prospect Cottage in Dungeness, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve en veel meer.De kleine cottage was het geld waard, al waren er natuurlijk bijzonderheden die bij een klein huis uit de zestiende eeuw horen. Denk aan lage deuren en smalle, krakende trappen die het voor grote mensen - ik ben 6.3 voet lang - lastig maken."
