"We very much enjoyed our comfortable stay at the White House Apartment. Myself and 2 of my teenagers stayed at this property for 5 nights. We didn’t get the access instructions as Expedia had said but were able to contact the host directly who responded immediately to get us in. "This a nice hotel in a great location. I’m glad I got to stay here. My room was modem, large, and clean. I appreciated the helpful staff and how housekeeping brings you chocolate in the evening! The breakfast area was well presented with a large selection of foods. In the evening I wanted to eat in the restaurant because it was late. There was no one there eating or any staff around. So I asked reception and they checked and said they were still serving. So I went back and still no one to greet me. I went to the other reception area and the person there recommended a good restaurant that was open late and not far away. So that was helpful and I appreciated that. I did feel like I wasn’t given much information when I checked in. Like the fact that I had to go to the other side of the hotel to access the gym and spa. ( there are two separate wings and reception areas) I also wasn’t told that there are limited hours for the gym and pool. The gym and spa area were great. It was the nicest, biggest hotel gym I had ever used. I really appreciated that amenity. I had a great 25 minute massage in the spa. I was unable to use the pool or jacuzzi because they close very early and I didn’t realize that. I went up there and it was not very inviting. It’s more of a bar area. Not many sun loungers . The staff did not seem friendly or welcoming. So that was unfortunate and took away from my stay a little bit. Overall it was a nice stay, but I did expect a little more from a 5 star hotel."
