"We stayed in the cottage at Tovey Lodge. It was very dated, which was fine, but it was also worn out. The sofa bed needs replacing due to peeling material and the mattress on this was so thin there is no way an adult could sleep on there. Luckily our 7 year old can sleep anywhere. The main bed was uncomfortable with a too small mattress topper which didn't reach the edges and because of this we only stayed for two of the three nights we had booked as we needed sleep. "We thoroughly enjoyed a week in the Boat House. It’s a unique house with everything you might need. The location was ideal for walking to the coast path and enjoying the local area. We were lucky to have beautiful weather so enjoyed the veranda view and all the daylight through the big windows. We were very relaxed after a week there."

"This is a well equipped cottage which is in a rural position on the edge of the town, accessed by a short but unlit lane. It is a 15 minute walk into the High Street and there are plenty of countryside walks from the doorstep."
