"Many unexpected issues whilst I was there; 1. Couldn't find key box as photo hadn't been included in check in (there are 6 key boxes) 2. Outside of apartment and indoor communal area is akin to uni halls of residence. Just not what I expected from a £120 a night apartment. 3. TV remote batteries were flat so had to buy batteries to watch TV 4. Wifi dropped out in the morning (and you can't watch TV without wifi as no aerial) 5. No proper shower in the bathroom just an attachment to the bath....

"Arrived at the property at 4pm. The place was absolutely filthy with layers of dust all over the property. The bathroom had large holes all round the bath and bits of plaster crumbling away. After contacting My Getaways they arranged for us to be moved to a different apartment which was very nice and centrally located. However had to pay for taxis to take us to the new place as we had shopping delivered. Please avoid Majestic Mews until it has had huge refurbishment. It should not take more...

"Be prepared to be disappointed if you book at this property. While the property is functional and clean, it has a number of issues that are not properly disclosed. Firstly there is a scaffolding that blocks the entire main view of the beach - so you don’t get the view shown in the pics. Secondly, this is a ground floor unit right on the busiest street in Brighton / Hove - noisy almost all hours of the day and night. Also there is no privacy - you open the blinds in the bedroom and the people...

"We were there with two small children and it was just enough space. Good location, clean place and the hosts were responsive and helpful, setting up the sofa bed for us. Its at the back of the property so nice and quiet "

"My husband and I were travelling along the south coast of England visiting family. We stayed at Old Sefter School for two nights and were absolutely thrilled with everything about our stay. Carole and Tim were incredibly hospitable and ensured that everything was to our liking. We had everything we needed and enjoyed exploring the village and walking the beach. "The property was beautiful, spotlessly clean, decorated beautifully and lovely garden. Milk,teabags, hot chocolate and coffee sachets there waiting for us which was a nice touch. A couple of minutes walk to the beach, lovely coastal walks and great food in the nearby pub 'The Lifeboat'. The couple that owned the property were lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend this holiday let and we hope to return."

"A perfectly situated flat in the heart of Brighton; well maintained, clean and comfortable. Our host was fabulously attentive and answered all our questions very quickly, and was extremely approachable. The flat is literally on the doorstep of shops restaurants bars and the beach! A great little getaway for a fabulous few days! The perfect find! We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and stress free."
