"We especially loved the fenced yard with our two year old granddaughter. We brought our 26 footPontoon and the pier/slip was easy peasy and still allowed room to play in the beach area. House was very clean. Plenty of towels for all guests. I would recommend replacing the cookware as there was only one smaller cookie sheet and two smaller frying pans that are nearing the end of their lifespan and one small saucepan. I would also recommend having at least an additional paper towel, napkins and some garbage bags just to get started. I could only locate recycling garbage bags. I did appreciate the shampoo conditioner and shower gel provided. Loved having the commercial fridge for storing beer seltzers etc and a wedding cake!! A second fridge is in the laundry room for all produce, meats and condiments. The BEST part about renting this house is the additional lot the owners have located directly across the street. We parked the boat trailer there as well as our five cars. Absolutely Invaluable with how narrow some of the lots are on Paw Paw Lake!!! Thanks again for a memorable wedding weekend for our family!! I would definitely recommend this place to other families that are looking for a great place to spend lakeside!!!"

"Stayed here for a wedding that was nearby. Be warned, Uber's are very hard to come by. Housebis very clean, on a nice property and large back yard. Perfect for family of 4 or 3 couples."

"Get ready for a full rustic lake experience. This rental checked all the boxes! The best features were the screened in three season room, the lake, the fire pit and hot tub. We had 10 people and fit comfortably in this multi level house. There are stairs throughout. We rented a pontoon boat from Sunset and enjoyed Little Paw Paw lake tubing and cruising. The yard is level with a few tree roots. Plenty of room for bags and wiffle ball. All communications were answered promptly. These owners aim to please."

"BLUF: for a peaceful, mostly quiet (you can hear some traffic), very pet friendly stay with no neighbors, no hassles and you don't require a 5-star experience with hot tub and Egyptian cotton bedding, this place is AWESOME!Pros:Location: 15 minutes from two BEAUTIFUL dog-friendly public beaches.Convenience: Gas station and convenience store within a 5-minute walk.Proximity: 20 minutes from scenic Saugatuck (which is a picturesque waterside community on the Kalamazoo lake/river mouth with great people, great food, TONS of outdoor activities in the area and an amazing atmosphere and all dog friendly to boot!) and 40 minutes from Holland.The CottageVibe: Rustic, comfortable, dated, but fully functional.Amenities: Two decent queen beds, 55-inch TV with all streaming apps, and a capable climate control unit.Kitchen: Medium fridge and well-stocked with essentials (Keurig, pans, dishes, utensils).Bathroom: Good shower pressure and temperature, though the handle is stiff.Flooring: Polished concrete with an area rug.Cons:Bugs: Ants will appear overnight if crumbs are left on the floor.Connectivity: Zero AT&T indoor cell service; spotty reception near the lake.Pillows: Very firm (recommend bringing your own).Missing Items: No broom, dustpan, mop, bucket, outdoor trash can and no microwave."

"Very disappointed in pool. Only 1 side (deep end) had room for pool chairs and limited to 6. Could not sit on other 3 sides. Ladders not angled and extremely difficult to use. House exceptionally clean and nicely furnished. However, there were several areas with a few steps. I use a walker and would like to have known ahead of time.Manager Chris responded immediately to any questions we had."
