"My room (Cape town) was great the theme was fun. More a couple orientated room as no shower but a great jacuzzi bath. The grounds do have family orientated rooms. Hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was ok just simple continental stuff. The grounds themselves really nice, clean and maintained. 7 odd miles from Whitby about 20 mins cab journey but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. I will definitely be staying again. I think it was good value for money."

"Convenient for our trip. 20 minute walk to the centre of Whitby. Accommodation spacious clean and away from pub area (Annex) so nice and quiet. Next to main road so some traffic noise but perfectly acceptable."

"Our attic room was cute and comfortable and very clean, with a view of the abbey. Tea/coffee/milk were unlimited in supply; check-in was seamless and the guest house is very well located. The only problem was parking: we did find a space but it was a bit of a walk, not really a problem for us and perhaps to be expected as we arrived quite late in the day on a bank holiday weekend. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay."
