Weekend Get Away

Went up for a quick weekend of fun with some friends and had a great time at this condo. Great location - close to town and golf course. Place was huge and was able to accommodate all 14 of us. Best part is that kids had their own floor w kitchen and jacuzzi just outside of their living area. Beds were super comfy w clean bedding, lots of bathrooms were a plus for the size of our group. Would definitely stay here again.

Just ok

The house has great potential but badly needs renovation, i had to work to unclog shower drains. Also unit has water leaks in several spots. The ceilings are falling in a few places and there is evidence of several other water leaks. I talked to the host about discounting the our stay he talked to the owner and he said evolve or vrbo would reach out but they haven'tresponded yet.

SUPER dated, not as promised, and a very sad settlement for what we endured

If I could post photos here I would. I am also a vrbo property owner and cannot begin to imagine renting a property this gross. I took a lot of photos and brought this to the property management immediately. It took them 5 days to even return my call and by then I left the property. The pillows and bedding are about 20 years old. Very sweat stained. The bathroom walls were covered in hair and a sticky dripping substance. The bathroom ceiling was covered in mold. The toilet seat is completely yellow and peeling. The "2nd kitchen" did not have a refrigerator. The living room couch is held together with DUCT TAPE! Carpet is worn and dirty on the stairs. I doubt it has been cleaned professionally since it was installed. My guess would be that is 10 years ago. The back door to the hot tub does not work with the code and it locks you out. So good luck walking around back to the front in the snow/freezing temps. Too bad this is a huge place. If it was cleaned up/updated it would be fine-probably costing less than what I paid for the week. Instead, I am out a HUGE amount of money since I rented over NYE (but didn't even stay bc it was THAT BAD). I write a travel blog. We travel very frequently and often use VRBO. If you can ever see any of my other reviews, I have never ever ever left a bad one anywhere. I actually only leave nice reviews knowing nit-picking is not worth the time. But here, when I was offered 0.05% refund (just the cleaning fee) I feel like I need to let any unsuspecting person know DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE. I think the other reviews must be from the owners or property managers. They have to be fake. Plain GROSS.

Family-Ruidoso

The property was fine. Had seen a rat going up the stairs and rat droppings under the pillows in two of the bedrooms.

My favorite place to stay!

My family and I love staying at this cabin. It is very spacious for a large family. We love the two kitchens, multiple bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. There’s a nice grassy, park area nearby for the kids to play. Close to restaurants and shopping. I recommend this condo for anyone looking to take a large group up to the mountains to simply hang out in the Jacuzzi or play at Ski Apache.

Great vaca!

We’ve stayed at this Condo several times when we want to have a getaway in Ruidoso! We love it! It’s big enough for 2 or 3 families if others want to join you! We really like that option because we always want family or friends to join us! And my kids love the hot tub!! It’s great in the summer to get away from the heat and it’s an amazing ski retreat in the winter! We’ve used this condo for both! The location is perfect!

Incredible place to stay!

Condo feels like home away from home! Great location, close to restaurants and slopes. Multilevel layout, accommodates large groups nicely. Pictures don't do it justice. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this condo to all! Couldn't get the kids out of the private jacuzzi.

Excellent Stay

I had the pleasure of staying in this huge property and would recommend it to everyone and every age group. My family and my kids friends stayed and having wifi, 2 living areas and 2 kitchens is an added bonus. Had ample room, privacy and the neighborhood and is very friendly. You are 1st greeted by the deer on the road as you drive up. All the pictures are 100% accurate. The property is very very clean. Everything worked and instructions were very well relayed. I will be back in December for ski season and look forward in soaking in the hot tub with my wife.
