Cute place and great location

Nice little hub to get to main Ruidoso with a wonderful hot tub. Listing does have an error. Fireplace is actually gas and not wood, which was disappointing. It also worked only off and on, but wasn’t a huge deal. They just might want to update the listen for others.

A cozy little cabin!

I cozy rustic little cabin! We enjoyed ourselves there! It has everything that you will need, full kitchen, gas grill & hot tub. During high season it may feel crowded with so many cabins in close proximity to one another.

We didn't like the fact you can see the other hot tub at the cabin behind Snuggle Inn. No privacy. Everything else was great.

Cleanliness

Enjoyable stay overall, but the cabin had some areas that hadn't been cleaned recently. Specifically, the blinds, windowsill, wood floor and door trim throughout, and under the bed, were coated with dirt and dust some of which had fossilized.

Safe Weekend Getaway

We were first greeted with two deer who visited our property. The cabin was everything we expected … neat and tidy with thoughtful comforts in the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living room area. The hot tub was very clean and provided a much needed relaxation after dinner. The host were very accommodating. We had one minor issue with the front door lock and promptly responded and fixed the lock. At their front desk, they had many brochures to find trails to hike and other historical destinations to visit. We easily were able to cook all of our meals in the kitchen. It was the perfect relaxing getaway weekend we were looking for!

Disappointed

Parking is a bit cramped, and the lighting was terrible in side the cabin. After reading all the rules and additional charges I was literally afraid to use anything at the cabin. The refrigerator is god awful noisy. Absolutely the worst stay in Ruidoso that I have every experienced. I would not recommend this cabin at even 50% of the price I paid ….. AWFUL

Sweet cabin needs lots of love

We arrived to find thelock box wide open. Then we saw the bedspread was dirty. I found a blanket to put over it so I would not have to look at it. As we unpacked we saw there was a closet pole, but alas, no hangers. We decided to cook pasta, but no pan for boiling water...nix that plan...so we made a salad, but oops, no cutting board. So..we ate sandwiches. Being tired, took a shower, but the tub diverter is half broken, and oh, the bathroom sink moves when you turn on the water to wash your hands. Turning down the blinds and curtains we notice the main door curtain is shredded completely. So..we climb into bed and..polyester sheets...hmmm. I wanted to read, but the bedside light in the photos online just isn't there. We had a good time in spite of the lack of care for this place. It also made us immensely proud of our own little rental in the same price catagory...

Several concerns

I ran out of hot shower water the first night, and it was lukewarm for my husband an hour later. We did have ample hot water in the morning yet showered 90 minutes apart. There was very limited mobile phone reception, and very poor lighting outside and very dark by the hottub without an indication of a step up. Of concern to my husband, a journeyman industrial electrician, was that two electrical lines are above the water at right side of the hottub, and the hottub was only a few feet from the electrical box- the former is a concern and the latter certainly a code violation in his experience. We also brought kindling and a lighter for the log fireplace, and when we arrived after dark, we discovered that there was only one small log and a branch to burn, so we did not bother. The bed was quite comfortable, yet the worn bedspread did not smell fresh. The initial price was reasonable, yet when we factored in the other fees for a cabin that was not up to par, we decided that the experience did not meet our (reasonable) expectations.

Nice little getaway

Relaxing little cabin for a trip away. We saw elk, deer, squirrels, and hummingbirds right by our cabin. The place was perfect for my wife and I. Our dogs loved being in the mountains. Will definitely be coming back.

Crowded neighborhood

I really wanted a cabin to avoid a lot of people around and although I knew there would be other cabins around, I didn’t expect them to all be right next to each other. There are no yards on the property. The hot tub is on a small desk and anyone who looks out their window or steps outside can see you. We tried doing yoga in the morning on the deck and a neighbor was about 20 feet away. If you choose to sit outside on deck, hope the AC isn’t running because it is very loud. Beautiful windows but they look out onto a street. Don’t forget toiletries and extra towels. If you’re looking for space and a view, this isn’t it.
