"When we booked this place we spent months excited about it and talking about how cool it would be. And then we got there and it lived up to all of our hopes and more! We stayed for a month and never got tired of the amazing view from the castle to the grounds and from the grounds to the castle. We spent hours hiking in the woods and playing kickball on the main lawn. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed. Jerome was a dream and arranged for his wife to cook us two french meals, which we absolutely loved. The castle is pretty isolated, but we didn't mind that. And the grocery store we liked was only 15 or so minutes away. There were a lot of bugs in the castle, but they didn't bother us, and we've come to expect that when we stay in rural settings. My husband and our four kids absolutely loved it here and would HIGHLY recommend it!"

"It was ideal for walking down into the Old Town. External lights shone in below blinds Standby lights were VERY bright one red and one blue There was intermittent ticking noise from heating/aircon control, which was off. In all, I got very little sleep. I have noticed that Campanile have deteriorated over the last few years and I will avoid in the future."

"Stopped over here on Sunday night , lovely village easy parking. Well appointed room , very clean and comfortable Great tray supper as restaurant not open on a Sunday evening, can’t wait to return to try the restaurant too. Good breakfast. Dog friendly and to be recommended "

"This hotel room was below an accceptable level as the toilet facilities were in poor condition. Broken wash basin tap and no toilet seat. Would not recommend."
