"We had 3 families stay at Cynthia and Bill’s farmhouse and it was absolutely amazing! The kids got to help feed the chickens and goats and collect eggs! The screened in porch was a huge hit! Sitting out there in the mornings with your coffee and listening to the animals was such a treat! Cynthia was a text message away if we ever needed anything! Truly a magical place to stay! We will definitely be going back!"

"Our family fell in love with this beautiful home and grounds! The home was so very clean. They had an overabundance of toys, books, movies, games. Everything you could want in a kitchen. The home is huge and each room is so full of character. The stargazing was spectacular! The incredible views! Those wonderful, gentle animals! Our grandsons could not believe it! Our 5 year old grandchild said, "it's like we have our very own petting zoo!"The owner and caretaker made us feel so very welcomed and cared for.We look forward to a return visit.Thank you!!"

"What a gem! Everything in Charlottesville was so expensive so we widened our search and I am so glad that we did! The Crossroads Inn was amazing. Our room was so cute! We signed up for the dinner with wine pairings from the local vineyard, which was delicious. The breakfasts were so good - super fresh. And they thought of everything - feed to give to the chickens, water and snacks, and chocolates too. The staff was so friendly. If you have the opportunity to stay here, do it! You won't regret it."

"Quiet, Peaceful, absolutely beautiful setting. We stayed in Earth room. If you can envision days gone by where a family lived in one room and stories were told by the fire- this is a modern day version. We loved that all of us were together versus siloed in separate rooms. We also thoroughly enjoyed the gardens and trails around the property. There are many places to sit and connect with nature. "

"VRBO and the host double booked the place. After a long drive we arrived to a house full of guests who were already unpacked and very unhappy to see us. VRBO's "VRBO Care" would have had us moved from a 4 bedroom house to a hotel for one night, and then the remaining nights at a similar place nearby (but that we would need to find on our own). This was unacceptable so we asked for a full refund."
