"Firstly, the hotel looks quite shabby from the outside. The minute we stepped out of the cab we thought that we have made a mistake booking this hotel. The reception area is not quite impressive but spacious. However, they had limited staff at the reception and slowed down things. Other than this, everything else was great. Rooms are spacious and we managed to use the swimming pool as well which was quite refreshing. The drinks and food at the bar and the restaurant was great and the free airport shuttle was a blessing. Just one point to note here was that the shuttle has limited luggage space and people may miss it in the first chance."

"We couldn't fault this hotel - a last-minute booking due to travel disruptions, we were very impressed with the accommodation and facilities offered by this hotel, so much so that we rather wished we'd spent the other nights of our stay in Barcelona here! Excellent room - very quiet (but there is building work being carried out in a neighbouring property which started up quite early although not really a problem for us). Location was perfect on the edge of the Gothic quarter. The room was excellent with all the facilities a traveller could want. Staff were very welcoming and efficient. We didn't use the pool as we weren't there long enough, but it looked very inviting and a real bonus in very hot weather!!"

"I had stayed at 3 different accomodations during my stay in Barcelona but I wish I had just stayed in Arco Barcelona during the entire trip because it's the only hotel that had a well-functioning air conditioner. I like the location as well, it's in between España and Poble Sec stations, which is served by the L1 and L3 train lines. You can get to Las Ramblas in 20 mins. It's also fairly walkable to the airport shuttle bus, if my flight wasn't too early, I would've taken the airport bus. My room faced Parallel avenue so there were a few sirens but I always slept well. I appreciate that the tv can do smartcast, so it was easy to connect phone to the tv. The staff was nice. I will definitely look into staying here again."
