"Get away from it all in a charming tiny home cabin (that doesn’t feel at all tiny). Extremely clean, well appointed, light filled, comfortable cabin - in the woods but not completely isolated. Wildlife sightings, Penrose Point State Park very close. Responsive host. Green all around. Rejuvenating. My cousin visiting from LA, and I from Portland, LOVED our stay! Highly recommend!"

"This house seriously needs improvement. The shower curtain was completely busted, so when we took a shower, water went everywhere. Also, the house has so little venting and so much moisture trapped into the carpets, etc, that if the windows are shut, there is significant condensation on the windows. There is a musty smell, and the beds are very uncomfortable. That said, the location is IDEAL, the beach and swimming pool are amazing, and the place is dog-friendly - all of which are serious...

"Really enjoyed our stay on the island. Comfortable place. Liked having a choice of bedrooms (up or downstairs), and having two bathrooms. We made good use of the kayaks everyday, even when it rained one day. It was difficult to find all the kayak choices since many of the marking on the kayaks are wearing off. We also noted that the one garbage can outside was full when we arrived nd we really struggled to put our own trash in it the we left. It seems it should have been empty when we arrived....

"Huge yard and deck area, would have been great with warmer/drier weather. Great view from the livingroom and master bedroom. I wasnt a fan of the bed (very creaky and the firm type memory foam that you eventually sink into). Kitchen was well equiped. It did feel a bit crowded with five adults. Again the cold/wet weather limited spreading outdoors."

"There were 5 adults, 1 older boy and a teenager when we visited this cabin. We all were amazed of the coziness of this place. Too bad we only rented it for 1 night. The place was clean and accommodated us comfortably. There were indoor games/toys, a cornhole board on the back porch of the cabin and a nice barbecue grill for entertainment. In the summer, friends and families can gather together while enjoying the fire pit outside. We also saw 3 deers at the backyard. That was a nice view to feel...

"We loved staying in this cabin that truly is right next to the Nisqually River. Sitting out on the porch watching the river flow by is refreshing in the morning and relaxing in the evening. Christine was very responsive and helpful, as well. Somethings future guests should know... 1) The photos are a little deceiving. "We celebrated my mother-in-laws birthday and had a wonderful time. The kitchen was stocked with cook wear & utensils to cook meals. The beds were comfortable, the space was cozy and we really enjoyed kayaking!"
