Anakie Gorge Getaway Tiny House 1 by Tiny Away
10/10 Excellent
"Little but comfy tiny house, off-grid, so more glamping than hotel. With all the mod cons (heating, mini fridge, gas, hot shower, even a little fireplace and a firepit outside. Energy is limited and depends on the weather to charge the battery via the solar panels, but even on grey and rainy days, the battery did charge. But it is not huge, so be wary of not keeping all the lights on etc. Bring a flashlight, just in case. It is perfectly located at the bottom of Anakie Gorge, and there are lots of trails that can be accessed from there. The Brisbane ranges are an often overlooked gem, and this tiny house is a nice base-camp for a long weekend hiking in the bush, amongst the teeming wildlife. The bedding is comfy and warm - important in winter as it was 8C in the morning when I was there, So, bring good PJs ;-)"
