And restaurants within reasonable walkingdistance. Everything worked just fine like the contact with Liana who helped us with the luggage on arrival. So many places to visit in the close area too! We hade a fantastic week in Montevecchia! Linda & Erik"

If you're accustomed to driving on tiny roads, having a rental car would be perfect as groceries and food options are generally in other towns. There are a few hiking trails in Brienno that take you through the old part of the town with deteriorating buildings which was very cool to see. Great place to stay!"

"This property checks all the boxes for a great trip to Varenna and to explore Lake Como. It is in an ideal location, central to restaurants and shopping and close to the ferry docks. It was incredibly clean and well appointed with nice details, like coffee and basic herbs and spices and plenty of other amenities to make the stay comfortable. We spent hours sitting in the loft, taking in the view as well as exploring the town and other towns in the Lake Como are. Communication with the hosts...
