"10 of us stayed here for an extended-family holiday. Ideal space so one family with young children were almost self contained at nighttime. We had no problem with the road noise that previous reviews mentioned. Enough bathrooms, plenty of cutlery and dishes for 10. Beds comfortable. Lovely garden with lots of space and perfect pool. "Located in the medieval cite of this historical town, just below the castle, this 200+ yr old house overlooks the Roman ruins and the present day town of Vaison la Romain. The view from the first floor dinner table and second floor bedroom is exceptional. The house is lacking an upgraded bathroom and an updated full kitchen, but it was adequate for cooking in and provided an excellent base for experiencing the wine, markets and history of Vaison la Romaine and Provence."

"Lovely house in the old town of Nyons. Tastefully restored and very comfortable. Complete quiet yet only minutes from the centre of the town with its plentiful restaurants and shops. The whole of the beautiful old town is traffic free as the houses are charmingly built jumbled together up a steep hill and the access is via a network of passageways and steps. The house is at the lower end of the old town and access isn't a problem though it was a bit tiring carrying suitcases up hill at the start...

Be prepared to buy loo roll and dishwasher tablets (one of each left for three day stay). Daily housekeeping didn’t happen so these weren’t replenished. "
