"We have stayed in this cottage many times in wonderful Roundstone. It is warm and cosy, very comfortable and always well stocked with extras in the kitchen. This time we were disappointed to find absolutely no logs for the fire when we arrived at 9pm making the first 30-60mins pretty chilly which was a shame. Usually we would light the fire and instantly be cosy. We would normally always make sure we left a few logs when our stay was completed too. Not sure what happened this time. It was a shame when first impressions are so important. Apart from this we had a wonderful stay and we would definitely stay again. Logs please next time."

"If I could give more than 5 stars i would! The communication was fantastic I would get a response within a couple of hours. Then when we arrived at the house it was more than we could have asked for, the view was so gorgeous we couldn't even speak. John of course stopped by and made sure we were all settled in and there was anything else he could do to make our stay better. John evern got a fishing trip ready for us and even though we didn't catch anything it was amazing. We were sad to leave but we definitely will be back!"

"We are a family of 4 with 2 young children and we stayed at the end of August. We loved the location. There is beautiful views from the front of the house and just a short stroll into Roundstone village. We were very comfortable in the house and it is very well equipped. Carole is an excellent host, very kind and accommodating. The house was a great base for us. Our week consisted of beach trips, Clifden trips, a boat trip with fishing, local walks and Connemara national park and all so accessible. We would love to return."
