"I normally stay at Barkley Lake State Resort but decided to make the extra drive to check out the Pennyrile Golf Course. So glad we did. The lodge was just as beautiful as well as the grounds and the area in general. Will definitely return with couples for more golfing next year. The place was practically empty, not sure why because we had a wonderful stay. You'd think it would be hard to secure a room. I have NEVER seen any marketing or advertising for Pennyrile other than flyers at the park shops. Kentucky sure knows how to run a great State Park system. Kudos. "

10/10 Excellent
"My stay was great! I arrived pretty late to check-in but there was a nice lady at the front desk to assist me. The rooms were nice and spacious. They included a nice size kitchenette. Everything was notably clean! I was only there for the night but I will be returning in the future. "
