"This property was great: very clean,spacious, and had everything we needed for a nice stay.The roof top garden was also a bonus especially as the weather was hot.The village has a couple of places to eat plus a `chippie`.Parking was easy with plenty of choice.Would stay again."

"Spent a week in the property. Great stay in a generous sized property. Less than 5 minutes from the beach. 5 minute walk from the town centre. Good range of shops and eating places in Newbiggin. Near park land which was ideal for the dog. House was well equipped. Good sized bathroom. Rear yard was a nice suntrap and very private. Good sized bedrooms and very clean."

"Barn Cottage was the perfect venue for our winter get away with friends. The property comfortable accommodated our party of eight. It is tastefully furnished and had excellent facilities including gym, tennis, table tennis and spa pool.Its an easy short stroll into Bamburgh and proved to be a great base from which to explorevthe area. "Ckean, modern cottage with every facility you could want including comfy beds and great showers. The cottage is in a lovely tranquil settling of trees with the sound of a brook very close. Its convenient for all the popular places to visit. Bamburgh castle, Seahouses, Berwick and lots of loved local villages. "A very enjoyable stay with a comfortable room and friendly, efficient staff. The initiative of offering a free drink for each time the room was not serviced was excellent and a practice which other hotels would be well advised to copy. The hotel was a little distant from the town but this wasn't a major problem and the on-site parking was more than adequate"

Room and decor fabulous

"The check in was fast and friendly, the room is lovely, with a nice view. There was quite a lot of noise from the street below early in the morning and the church bells were regular throughout the night. The breakfast was a good amount but lukewarm spolt the vibe. The price we paid , i think was high for this standard."

"A three day visit on our trip from Scotland home. A very pleasant hotel with excellent accommodation, a restaurant offering excellent food and a pleasant bar area. The hotel was in a very good position overlooking the sea and a short walk into the centre of Seahouses. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation in staying there again and recommending the Beach House Hotel."

Highly recommended

"Excellent - owners were lovely and accomodated my limited mobility needs. Renovation on the once delapidated property was superb. Additional shop v appealing and insight into restoration business. Great outside space (the weather was superb) v cosy lounge for residents which would be lovely. Only comment breakfast was a little on the cool side. The whole experience was wonderful and i shall definately return."
