"This is is the cutest most comfortable and luxurious "tiny house" ive ever seen! The hosts communicated quickly and effectively. The accommodations were better than we expected. Everything was just right. My ONLY regret is that i didnt research times local businesses were open prior to our stop. Travel took longer than expected (we are in the process of moving and had a trailer along so we were too long for the ferry and had to go around). Be smarter than we were and plan accordingly 😉"

"A true log cabin with air conditioning and a kitchen. The only issue I had was the lack of a sink in the bathroom. Because the original cabin was very old, it had dropped in one corner so the floor was sloped which was a little disorienting. Despite being pet friendly, It was pretty clean and the location in Shawnee National Forest was ideal for hiking."

"We chose this cabin for a weekend getaway to relax and enjoy the outdoors. This cabin was exactly what we needed. We loved the cute, little cabin and all the amenities. The view is breathetaking. My daughter spent hours fishing the lake and caught multiple bluegill and fish. We appreciated the board games, cards and activity books provided with the house. We made good use of them on the rainy days. The cabin was very stocked and had everything we need. Host were great and very quick to respond to questions. The personalized welcome card was very sweet and made the cabin very inviting. I highly recommend this cabin if your looking to unplug and relax while visiting Shawnee National Forest."

"We had a wonderful time mostly. The house had all the kitchen items we needed. The bathroom was stocked with tp and towels. Plenty of blankets and pillows. There was severe weather. So, both mornings we woke up with no power. But, when there was power, the WiFi worked great and the hot tub was so relaxing. We took advantage of fishing in between the storms. Wish the weather would’ve been better, but not much the owners can do about that. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family for a couples retreat or even a family with a couple younger kids."

"Beautiful place lots of relaxation good fishing ate all our meals on the deck surprised only saw 2 flies and no mosquitoes the cicadas are plentiful but don’t bite or sting good bait lol"

"The cabin is quaint and designed like a tiny house. There was a queen bed in the loft. The stairs to the loft were actual stairs. It was easy to climb up. The ceiling was high in the miiddle so we could stand. The bathroom had a good shower without walls. So plenty of room. I think it would be beautiful in the fall. Cicadas were singing and flying around. We had a good time. We would recommend it to others."

"Came to unplug and it was wonderful. Hiked nearby and being able to return to the cabin and cook dinner each night was a pleasure. Being dog friendly brought us to stay here and we enjoyed having her with us."

"We enjoyed the time we spent in the cabin. The area was quiet and peaceful but we were disappointed in that we could not fish in the lake. The growth of the plants around the perimeter of the lake prevented us from being able to fish from the bank behind the cabin. We are planning on coming up again next year if it is possible. We are getting older and our health may prevent us from coming up again. We will have to wait and see how things work out. The cabin was clean and comfortable and there was a lot of room for us to be able to move around. Over all it was an enjoyable week for the three of us. We had plenty of time to visit our family that are in the area in Brookport and Metropolis. Ronnie"
