"Comfy bed, great beach view. Grateful for the sticks they keep in the sliders as you really have to shove the door to get it locked. Only one lock option in the main room door; not super secure feeling for solo female traveler but there is a really convenient luggage rack which not all hotels provide! Upon moving the shower curtain to take shower, located two extra wasclothes in the upper corner of the shower curtain crusty and used. Third time staying here, third time not super friendly check in staff. Comes with wall mounted hair dryer, would not suggest using as back of dryer was very full of lint. Lots of parking options, lots of warm water. If you prefer staying in a hotel where you can hear your neighbors phone conversation, this is a great opportunity for you! "

"We had a lovely stay at the Suite by the Fountain. Our host, Dave, could not have been more accommodating. He was flexible with our booking and responded promptly to every question or request. The suite itself is extremely comfortable and well-appointed. The layout and space of the unit was perfect for the two of us and could easily hold 4 renters. Beds were comfortable although the pillows were a little soft to my liking. (Maybe provide an option of a couple of firmer pillows.) The location is absolutely ideal. Short walk to all that downtown and uptown have to offer. We enjoyed tasty dinners at The Fountain Cafe (right next door), and Betta Bar and Grill, listened to live music at The Bishop Hotel, and tasted wine and cocktails at Vintage and The In-Between. Also managed to catch a movie at the historic Rose Theater - all recommended!"

"It’s called the Belmont Hotel on all the travel sites but when you get there, they say through the phone that it’s called Vacasa. This hotel is not open when you peek inside the windows of the hotel and front desk and no one around to assist. We had numerous calls trying to get someone to help us and everyone informed us they couldn’t help us until 4 o’clock when we could use a code that would be emailed to us privately to get into the hotel. Then we would need additional codes to get into a room. When we asked other vendors about the hotel, they all told us that it’s run from outside of country. When we called and actually got somebody on the phone, accents were very difficult to understand, and they were very impatient. We asked if we could park our car because we had arrived a few hours earlier and they told us that we have to pay for street parking. Little did I know until after I booked the hotel it was booked by the hotel through Expedia. I would’ve never booked through them had I known this. I was with two sisters that had traveled across country to visit me and I was so happy to take them up to Port Townsend in Washington state. It was a horrible experience and if you find yourself stranded, the Palace Hotel across the street is wonderful. Virginia "
