Great but a few issues

Great location, lovely house. Unfortunately the French doors were jammed in the living room so we remained in darkness here for a day and a half. The TV never worked even though we constantly tried to reboot the Orange box as we had been told to do by the owner. Great Pool and river view.

We hebben met spijt “Villa au bord de l’Orb” verlaten. De woning heeft alles wat je maar kan wensen: ruime, nette kamers, goede bedden, meer dan voldoende keukengerei, 3 koelkasten, 2 kleine diepvriezers, een fantastisch zwembad, het prachtige uitzicht en toegang tot de rivier… De bakker ligt op wandelafstand, elke dag vers brood op tafel maakte onze vakantie helemaal compleet. Als ik dan toch 1 minpuntje moet bedenken: een aantal zaken waren stuk: paraplu’s waren wat beschadigd, rolgordijn dat niet helemaal werkte zoals het hoorde, maar dit heeft absoluut geen invloed gehad op onze vakantie. Fantastische woning! De woning is misschien niet geschikt voor kleinere kinderen, omdat het terras rond het zwembad (stuk in hout) niet omheind is. Kleinere kinderen kunnen hier gemakkelijk afvallen.

Flesje wijn stond klaar bij aankomst, altijd leuk! De woning is mooi en rustig gelegen, via een poortje kon je naar de rivier in de achtertuin waar je de kayaks ziet voorbij komen. Het huis is groot en goed uitgerust. Op het zwembad na (heel veel bladeren) was alles netjes in orde, zwembad hebben we dan zelf schoongemaakt en in de loop van de week is de onderhoudsman langs gekomen. In het dorpje zijn wat cafeetjes, restaurants en een kleine supermarkt. Er is ook een meer waar je kan zwemmen. Op een half uurtje rijden ben je in een groot winkelcentrum, en op een 45 minuten aan zee. De tuin was volledig omheind wat heel handig was met onze 2 honden. Enige tip: wat meer info over wat er in de buurt te zien en te doen is zou handig zijn. Zeker een aanrader dus!
