MGH Mitsui Garden Hotel Taipei Zhongxiao

"This is a hotel I definitely will revisit and stay. What I like the most is its staff and its location very close to MRT, 2 mins walking distance. If I have to recommit something, I would say a water station in every floor and no need for individually packaged for a tiny Q-tip for example. Less plastic usage should be idea. I know it a Japanese franchise hotel but everyone should do their part to make this world less polluted. Hope this helps. Best, Wen"

"I liked the location which was next to the mrt station. The warm toilet seat, the dim light under the sink was very useful to guide us to the toilet when the rest of the lights were off. I know using plastic bags to line the trash bins is not environmentally friendly but I also hate it when there’s no lining and all the trash ends up dirtying the bin, just the ocd in me, so this hotel did it right. I liked that there were two places to go to for breakfast and there is also a bakery if you prefer just a sandwich or a bun to go. There are also 3 other restaurants but we did not have a chance to try them. The concierges are very helpful hailing taxis for us when we needed one and a lady gave us a delightful recommendation to a soya bean place! I wish I got her name. I did not like the window without a view but I can live with as we are out all the time. And the pillows are too soft for me but the bed is good. Thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant and comfortable! "

"10 days in Taipei and loved staying here. It’s occupying two floors of a mixed-use building which is quite popular in Taipei. The staff was excellent in recommending places to get what I wanted. Daily breakfast is pre ordered and brought to the lobby for pick up. (Taiwanes breakfast or McDonalds) there’s an eating area with tea and coffee. The neighborhood is lively with many eateries including DinTaiFung. Many SOGO department stores as well. I would stay again if on a budget. Just don’t pick the rooms without windows. "
