"First off, the concept of this hotel is lovely. The Japanese styling makes it feel very relaxing and modern. The zen garden and koi ponds off the lobby are a nice touch. The staff is great - very polite and professional and they honored our Hotels.com VIP status with a food/drink credit. The rooms are pretty typical for a hotel except the bathroom had a wet room with a deep soaking tub and wonderful shower, which we loved. There is also a bidet toilet seat available if you want to use it - I love the one I have at home but chose not to use this one (read below). There were a few disappointments: only one ice machine by the 1st floor elevators and it was in serious need of defrosting. Our bathroom smelled of urine (the floor grout maybe needed a scrub) and the toilet was not cleaned very well. There was leftover excrement “splatter” under the rim. Pretty gross. Thankfully I had my own Clorox wipes to wipe everything down! Because of the convenience and price, I would maybe stay again but they really should work on some of the cleanliness issues. "

"I will definitely be back but very frustrated with the reservation system. I reserved the Manor Queen suite which was supposed to have a queen and a pull out couch. We were being our son with us so when we got in room and found a king and just arm chairs I wasn’t pleased at all. He had to make other arrangements to stay somewhere else."

"$12 per day vehicle surcharge is ridiculous (for parking my car in their unsecured parking lot). Breakfast was passable but nothing spectacular."

"Terrible check-in experience on May 10th at 9 PM. The staff member was blatantly disrespectful. He ignored my questions, made visible faces of annoyance, and made us feel like a burden rather than paying guests. We were with kids, and his cold attitude was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. I expected much better service from this establishment."

"The room, staff, parking and breakfast was all great. The only issue we had was the noise. We literally could hear people talking all night long, and at different volumes and number of people talking. We figured out where it was coming from and it was the lobby. We had a room over looking the lobby and it was open like a loft. Don't get rooms in this area. "

"Ants in the bathroom, dirty floors, pubic hair and splatter on the counter tops in the bathroom. Otherwise bed linens were clean. Coffee was good. TV was in working order. Door locks were loose and had to run the key card several times before it took. Front desk was helpful."
