"2nd time staying at duck tree. It's a great little getaway spot for a cosy weekend or a week long family stay. Plenty of room to share and stretch out. Lovely big yard to play and enjoy the naturally quoet surroundings. I couldn't give 5 stars as it could use some updating (towels, kitchen items, furniture is a little dated),but otherwise very clean, cosy and quiet. Very close to town and areas of interest. Excellent communication and flexibility of host"

"Staff were amazingly accommodating! We had to leave early so couldn't enjoy breakfast but they made sure we had a continental breakfast to enjoy in our room. Room was clean roomy, great natural light and very comfy bed. Food and service at the restaurant was exceptional! We will definitely be back to enjoy again!"

"A fantastic property perfect for our little girls getaway. We each had a bedroom. The property was clean neat and tidy had everything that we needed. It was freezing cold so we couldn’t make use of the outdoor area with the outdoor area was great as well. Nice little town Gisborne great op shops. Highly recommend three little pigs cafe in town. The food is sensational. The atmosphere is great and the customer service is amazing.The only that was missing was a tall mirror that we could see ourselves but that’s a girl thing!A bit confusing there is no driveway being a corner house and not able to park opposite a solid white line.Then a bus stop on the other corner side meant we made a choice to park on the front lawn, sorry!"
